The Ross County Christian Academy Foundation was created in order to form an affiliation between Ross County Christian Academy and like minded donors. We partner together to join financial resources that lead to the creation of programs that empower educators and students. Funding opportunities primarily consist of the establishment of a permanent location for the school, maintenance of current physical buildings and classroom furnishings. Furthermore, we support special programming requested by teachers and provide need-based tuition support as determined by the Independent School Management Program. If you would like to donate, please use the link below.
Ross County Christian Academy was founded in 2007 through the work of two retired school administrators, Jake Grooms and Mike MacCarter. The initial vision was to have a school with the Christian faith integrated into all aspects of the education and to be an option for families in Ross County. This continues to be the main focus of the school as reflected in the school’s mission statement: “The mission of Ross County Christian Academy is to provide an excellent educational program for each child in a creative, challenging, and Christ-centered environment.”
While the school is not affiliated with any one church, the school has the endorsement of 22 Ross County churches. RCCA is the only nondenominational Christian school in Ross County. When the doors opened in September 2007, 23 students were enrolled. That number has seen steady growth to over 370 students in our 13 years of operation. The school is fully chartered, Pre-school through 12th grade, by the Ohio Department of Education. The school currently serves children age 3 through students in 12th grade.
As you consider making a gift to Ross Co. Christian Academy Foundation, please note the different levels of giving the foundation has established. Note: all gifts and honors are accumulative.
Foundation Board Members will come to your home, business, Sunday School, or any small group for an opportunity to present the Foundation Goals on a personal level. This is a preferred format because we can exchange ideas and learn from yours. Please call the school at 740-772-4532 for an appointment.
Gifts in kind are very important and appreciated. Think creatively about office furnishings or construction materials and services.
The backbone of the Foundation is cash donations or pledges. All gifts are tax deductible, gifts and honors are accumulative and can be spread over five years.
